I have totally enjoyed these shoes!! they weigh almost nothing, which make them great for travel. The color is beautiful and rich, and the bamboo fabric is airy. My first pair was too big (my mistake), and the customer service was easy and swift. My only disappointment is that shipping takes considerably longer than anticipated, and i didn't have them in time for a planned trip.

This shoe is very cute and comfortable. I received several compliments on the first day that I wore them. If you need a ton of arch support shoe is so-so. I have flat feet. I find them perfect for a trip to the store and hanging out.

Nurturing the planet is a cause that’s very dear to us at Cariuma. That’s why we decided to start our own Reforestation Program in our founders’ homeland, Brazil, where the rainforests are home to an increasing number of endangered plants & animals. For every pair of sustainable sneakers purchased, we plant a pair of trees in the Brazilian rainforest to directly aid in the restoration and preservation of these natural habitats.

We’ve gone minimalist. Now our sneakers are delivered to your door in one box, which acts as both packaging and your shoe box – the box is also designed to be used for any returns as well! (All made with recycled & recyclable paper & cardboard.)

Carbon-Neutral Shipping

For our express shipping, we joined a program called DHL Go Green, in which shipment emissions are neutralized through nine diverse reforestation programs around the world. We also capture carbon through our Reforestation Program in the Brazilian rainforest.

Bamboo Knit

Bamboo is harvested from the stalk and rapidly regenerates, leaving tree & soil intact.
Sugarcane Outsole

Our durable outsoles are made with Green EVA from sugarcane and a negative carbon emissions balance.
Vegan Insole

Our signature memory foam insole is made with cork & mamona oil.
Recycled Plastics
